Here's an absolutely gorgeous guitar and the one we most regret letting go - our Collings 0002H 12-Fret Brazilian Rosewood & Adirondack Guitar!!! This guitar is in excellent condition, as is the Collings-badged factory case. The guitar has seen very little play time and has been extremely well taken-care-of. This Collings 0002H 12-Fret Brazilian/Adirondack embodies the epitome of Collings quality. The guitar features solid AAA Brazilian Rosewood back & sides; solid Adirondack top; ebony fingerboard, pyramid bridge, and bridge pins; slotted headstock; 25.5" scale; and 1 13/16" nut width. The 0002H model is Bill Collings' personal favorite and a lot of care goes into producing them - even more so with this guitar, due to it's top echelon Brazilian rosewood and Adirondack tone woods. It's hard to put into words and describe the beauty, wonderful action, and sound of this guitar. In fact, the experience begins with opening the case, which still brings that new guitar smell. The AAA grade Brazilian rosewood is exquisitely dark and tight-grained - so much so that it was very difficult to photograph. Likewise, the Adirondack top is similarly top-grade, with fine and uniform grain. I rate this guitar's overall condition as 9.8 out of 10. There is very slight wear on a few frets and a few barely perceptible marks from handling. These are all very minor and I was unable to capture any of them with my camera. This Collings 0002H Brazilian/Adirondack is the ultimate realization of the 0002H guitar style and promises to be the centerpiece of even the most discriminating guitarist's collection.
