Thank you for your interest in our Gretsch G6120DC Black Limited Edition Guitar!!! This guitar is in excellent, 100% condition and comes complete with the factory case and documentation. We are the original owners and have taken meticulous care of it. When you open the case, you're still greeted with that new guitar smell. It has seen little play time and still has the plastic cover over the truss rod adjustment cover plate. The guitar has been maintained securely in its factory case, in a smoke-free, environmentally-controlled room. This is a rare guitar, indeed. Gretsch offered this limited edition of the G6120DC during latter 2005. The guitar was available by custom order only and there weren't many made. Patterned after the 1962 version of the G6120 DC, this guitar features an all-black finish; all-gold hardware; gold-trimmed, black back pad; string mute; ebony fretboard and bridge base; Gretsch "Rocking Bar" bride; and TV Jones Classic pickups with period PAF covers. Adding to the class of this guitar is the absence of the cheesy "Simulated F Holes", which Gretsch paints on the standard G6120DC. This limited edition G6120DC has one of the finest, easy-playing actions we've played. The guitar sounds tremendous and is, hands-down, one of the classiest looking Gretsch's out there.
