The Hollowbody is one of Paul Reed Smith's most renown and popular guitar models. The Hollowbody is not only one of the lightest, most nimble electric guitars made, but one of the most versatile. These guitars are a joy to play, very expressive, and capable of mellow, jazz tones right up to in-your-face, hard-rock distortion. The Hollowbody Spruce, in particular, provides the upmost in tone and responsiveness. This is because spruce is the ultimate tone wood for acoustic and electric hollowbody guitar tops. This Hollowbody Spruce was made in 1999 and is in outstanding condition. It features a very tightly-grained spruce top, wide-fat neck, and the gorgeous Black Sunburst finish. It has a spectacular action, with gobs of tone to match. The guitar is a true featherweight, tipping our postal scale at just under 5 pounds! The factory hard case is also in excellent condition, with minor signs of use. The PRS Hollowbody Spruce is one of my personal, all-time favorite guitars. The only reason I'm selling this is I have two other Hollowbody Spruces which I routinely play. This one has been serving as a backup and just sitting in its case. I really hate to let it go, but I need to thin the herd. So, it's time to set this beauty free!
